YWAM Naga Update
A lot of great things have been happening here at YWAM Naga! Hope you enjoy reading! |
Penafrancia
With this last September being Naga's Penafancia Festival (moving their idol from one church to another) we were able to go out and evangelize to those who came for the activities. Partnered with Naga Grace Presbyterian Church we handed out gospel tracks, spoke to people one on one, and prayed over the area during the parades. We had only few people in comparison to the thousands that were in Naga city, but we knew God could still make a huge impact!
Boys and Girls Fellowship
We no longer are holding our teen boys/girls fellowships, but decided it was time to release them to Caluag Grace Presbyterian Church. In doing this it allows the teens to start maturing in a new way, being involved and disciple by their local church. We are still involved with the teens but it is the church who will conduct and disciple them during their fellowships.
It is important to us, as YWAM staff, that we get involved or partner with our local churches. Whether it's us helping them in their ministries or us coming together to start new ones. The more we partner with one another in doing God's work the more people we are able to reach out to.

Expansion of Nutrients Program
We started a new Nutrients Drink location at a nearby squatter community called Danlugan. Two of our staff go there 5 days out of the week to give the drink to the children. We hope we can continue to build relationships with this community as we see they are so welcoming and open to the gospel.
Also, with the teens group being released to the church it allowed Marthy (one of our staff who ran the teens group) to start another new feeding location with his church in Triangulo! It's so awesome to see God giving us so many new opportunities.
With these two new locations we now have a total of 7 communities we are ministering to through our Nutrients Drink Program. God is good!! Please continue to be praying for finances so we may continue doing feedings in all these locations.

Base Maintenance Praise Report
Praise God that we are putting a new roof in the dinning area! It is such a blessing that we are able to fix our leaky roof and we thank God for those who helped make it happen, it was a task that was long over due.
There are still plenty projects needing attention, so if you would like to help in providing supplies or the finances to make our base a better/safer place we would be so grateful.
